Bridal Design at Tommi goes back in time

Christopher String - Wednesday, July 21, 2010
With two more dresses from Ardmore's Priscilla of Boston location, the styling team at Tommi decides to mix things up!  Resident makeup artist Linda Zatta worked in tandem with the photography department to put together a look that is a homage to 50s era hairstyles with a newer twist.

Wardrobe stylist, Nicole Douglas worked closely with the models to ensure the dresses were perfectly fitted and accessorized.

Drawing inspiration from the nostalgic and glamour filled days of Hollywood, these hairstyles carry heavy influences from Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn.

Christopher goes on to explain, "These hairstyles are reminiscent of a more pristine, more innocent and carefree time in American culture.  Why not let that carefree spirit and unbridled energy manifest itself into our designs here at Tommi?".

Come to Tommi and dare to be beautiful...

Working with Priscilla of Boston

Christopher String - Monday, April 12, 2010
I had the pleasure of meeting Jill from Ardmore's Priscilla of Boston location, and after seeing the location and selection of dresses, I knew we had to take a couple of these beautiful dresses home and photograph them.

After choosing two of the dresses (designed by Melissa Sweet) we took them home and were now faced with the task of selecting models for the dresses.

After much deliberation we settled on 4 models: Laura Mattey, Krista Kaliner, Jacqueline Ward, and Falon Shrokman.

With Linda Zatta on makeup and Bruce Slemmer on hair, this was sure to be a knockout of a shoot!
